Job Description

VY Systems is hiring an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a contract engagement local to Broadway, New York, NY (Hybrid, 3 days/week). The role involves building scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, working closely with Product Owners, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack web applications
Develop RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular
Implement reusable UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards
Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and code reviews
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams
Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Requirements

Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
Hands-on experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Must be local to or willing to work hybrid (3 days/week) in Broadway, New York, NY
