Job Description

Vyze Inc is hiring an experienced Python Backend Developer for a long-term contract engagement onsite in Plano, TX. This role requires hands-on telecom industry experience and strong backend engineering skills across API development, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Only local candidates able to work onsite, with an active LinkedIn profile, will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks
  • Build and maintain backend services supporting telecom domain applications
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms
  • Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Python backend development
  • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments
  • Telecom industry experience required
  • Must be a local candidate to Plano, TX with an active LinkedIn profile
