Job Description
Senior Automation Test Engineer role at WhiteBlue Cloud Services in Chennai. Responsible for building robust automation frameworks, UI and API automation, and contributing to test architecture and framework development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI and API testing
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test data
- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, reproduce, and report defects with clear evidence
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to test strategy
Requirements
- 5-9 years of experience in automation testing
- Strong experience with Playwright for UI automation
- Experience with REST API testing using Rest Assured or similar tools
- Proven ability to design test frameworks from scratch
- Experience with version control (Git) and test architecture
- Knowledge of manual testing with strong supporting experience
