Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong foundation in Linux/Unix and AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate should be an engineering graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a keen interest in cloud computing and infrastructure management. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud projects and real-world infrastructure challenges, learn from industry experts, gain hands-on AWS experience, and benefit from certification sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices
- Administer and optimize Linux-based environments for high availability and security
- Configure and troubleshoot networking solutions, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Automate cloud operations using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Ensure security, compliance, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in AWS and Linux environments
- Work on cost optimization and performance tuning for AWS resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, or Debian)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, NAT, Firewalls, Load Balancing, VPNs)
- Familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFront, WAF, Route 53
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or other automation tools
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- 3-6 years of relevant experience
