Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java/J2EE and Angular
• Build and consume REST APIs
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries against MS SQL Server
• Own test automation and unit testing using JUnit and Mockito in the absence of a dedicated QA team
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Git, and Gradle
• Implement security-focused development practices, including handling of PII
• Leverage GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q, or Kiro for secure software development
• Collaborate closely with Tech Leads and the broader team in an Agile environment

Requirements

• 10-12+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
• Strong Spring Boot experience
• Angular 8+ experience (dedicated Angular developers only; no React)
• Strong SQL skills with MS SQL Server, including complex query writing
• REST API development experience
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Git, and Gradle
• Test automation experience
• Security-focused development experience, including handling PII
• Experience leveraging GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q, Kiro, or similar) for secure software development
• Nice to have: IBM MQ, IBM Connect:Direct
• Nice to have: Capital Markets or Payments domain experience
• Nice to have: Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae experience
• Nice to have: FitNesse or similar acceptance testing framework experience
