Job Description

As a Cloud Developer II here at Honeywell, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet security and compliance standards. You will report directly to our Director of CX Project Management, and you’ll work out of our Pittsford, NY, Atlanta, GA, or Framingham, MA location on a Hybrid work schedule. Lenel/S2 is looking for a driven professional to join its Cloud Engineering/Managed Services team to onboard and secure the On-Guard AWS hosted single-tenant environments for our key customers, as well as helping us automate sustainable and repeatable architecture for future growth. Do you enjoy working from the customer perspective and diving deep on issues? As a system development engineer, you will be responsible for the overall health of our AWS cloud-based managed service and develop key automation tools for our customers. You will create availability and health metrics, monitor performance, perform regular system maintenance, and architect innovative solutions running our On-Guard Cloud access control system in a large, distributed environment. You will automate routine tasks enabling the team to be quick and agile. You'll be one of our experts in system automation for Lenel On-Guard Cloud on AWS. You’ll work closely with internal customers to understand their operational challenges and provide successful outcomes. You will work closely with our key customers onboarding and afterwards supporting their expansions and issues. You should enjoy digging deep to find answers, sometimes this will require reverse engineering existing solutions, a situation you thrive in. This is a customer-facing position.
