Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits
• Monitor security events using SIEM tools and respond to incidents
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
• Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection
• Conduct security awareness training and advise development teams on secure coding practices
• Evaluate and integrate new security tools and technologies

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security engineering
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewall management, and vulnerability assessment
• Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap)
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or GDPR
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP preferred
