About the role: We are seeking passionate and motivated Data Engineer to support our Costa Rica Manufacturing sites. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data engineering and analytical solutions that are easy to consume. Job responsibilities include: - Design, build, and deploy reports utilizing Power BI tool - Develops or modifies data models, ETL processes, and BI tool solutions (SSIS, Python, GitLab). - Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies. - Develop and improve the current data architecture, emphasizing data security, data quality and timeliness, scalability, and extensibility - Proactively recommends requirements and/or process improvements, automation opportunities and best practices - Partners with business product owners to set and align business priorities - Responsible for validating that the delivered product meets the strategic business objectives through activities such as demos, etc. - Provide support on issues before, during, and after deployment - Interacts with the business areas and production units to understand all data requirements to develop business insights and translates them into data structures and data model requirements to TEC Ops team Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related field. - 3+ years Data Engineering experience - Well-versed in Agile Scrum - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present solutions to business partners - Medium to Advance English Level - Please submit Resume in English Prefered Qualifications: - Experience working with Power BI and python preferred - Experience with GitLab is a plus Requisition ID: 626746 As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.
