Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the middleware development team
- Architect and oversee backend services built on Node.js 18+
- Ensure scalable, secure integration with payment gateway systems
- Drive best practices around messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), caching (Redis), and database design (PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
- Own authentication and authorization implementation (JWT/OAuth2)
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Node.js backend/middleware development
- Strong experience with Express, Fastify, or NestJS
- Hands-on experience with Redis and RabbitMQ/Kafka
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MongoDB
- Experience with JWT/OAuth2, REST, and WebSockets
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Experience with PM2/Cluster and Docker
- Graduation in Computer Science (MCA preferred)
- Mandatory: Payment Gateway / Payments Domain exposure
