Job Description

Forcecraver Technologies is looking for a strong Senior Data Scientist with hands-on experience in retail pricing and customer analytics. The role involves working on demand forecasting, scenario simulation, customer segmentation, CLTV, pricing optimization, and advanced machine learning. Candidates with significant AWS ML experience — especially SageMaker and Bedrock — are also encouraged to apply, even if retail pricing experience is limited. This is a remote position (India only) with a fixed IST day shift (7:00 AM–4:30 PM).

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain demand forecasting models for retail and e-commerce use cases
Design and execute what-if / scenario simulation analyses to support business decisions
Develop and implement customer segmentation strategies
Model and optimize Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) across product lines
Perform pricing analytics and price optimization to drive revenue growth
Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to solve complex business problems
Work within the AWS ML ecosystem including SageMaker for model training and deployment
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytics insights into actionable strategies

Requirements

6–8 years of experience in data science or related analytical roles
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Hands-on experience with Demand Forecasting
Experience with What-if / Scenario Simulation techniques
Strong knowledge of Customer Segmentation methodologies
Experience with Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) modelling
Expertise in Pricing Analytics and Price Optimization
Machine learning and advanced analytics experience
AWS SageMaker experience (Must Have)
AWS Bedrock experience (Preferred)
Familiarity with the broader AWS AI/ML ecosystem
Preferred domain experience in Retail, E-commerce, Consumer Goods, or Pricing & Revenue Management
