## Job Description
Blend is seeking an experienced, energetic Human Resources Business Partner to join our Mexico team. This is a unique hybrid role that combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on operational excellence. You will be the go-to person for our leaders and employees. A trusted advisor who understands both the big-picture talent strategy and the details of onboarding and day-to-day employee support.
As this is a new office, you will also be expected to help build and establish the HR processes, structure, and foundations needed for the office to operate effectively. Therefore, prior experience and strong knowledge of HR practices and labor regulations in Mexico are required.
If you thrive operating in both the strategic and tactical spaces, love solving complex people problems, and have the cultural instincts to help shape how we work together, let us talk.
The Role
You will own the full employee lifecycle and strategic HR function for our operations in Mexico. This role requires you to be comfortable with ambiguity, self-directed, and genuinely excited about both high-level HR design and the operational rigor that makes it work.
Strategic Partnership and Culture Building

- Serve as a trusted advisor on leadership development, succession planning, and retention of key talent
- Design and champion culture initiatives that reinforce Blend values and create belonging across the region
- Lead conversations around employee engagement, performance, and development with empathy and business acumen
- Provide thoughtful, candid counsel on complex interpersonal, performance, and organizational challenges
- Support managers with coaching and frameworks to help them lead more effectively
HR Operations and Administration
- Manage all aspects of employee onboarding, including documentation, compliance, and cultural integration
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and payroll coordination; serve as the point person for employee benefits questions
- Maintain accurate employee records, data integrity, and HRIS systems.
- Ensure HR policies are implemented consistently, up-to-date, and compliant with local regulations
- Coordinate with external HR service providers (payroll, legal, benefits) and manage vendor relationships
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards that give leadership visibility into people-related trends
About You

- Strategic communicator: You can distill complex HR concepts into clear, actionable guidance. You present ideas with confidence and listen deeply to understand the business context before recommending solutions.
- Cultural architect: You have a creative, intentional approach to building culture. You see HR not as compliance, but as a lever for how we attract talent, develop people, and retain our best.
- Problem-solver: You thrive on ambiguity and complex HR challenges. You are resourceful, solutions-oriented, and can navigate competing priorities with grace.
- Excellent attention to detail: You understand that great HR operations are built on accuracy, consistency, and reliability. You catch errors before they matter.
