Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI)
• Develop responsive frontend applications using React.js/Next.js and TypeScript
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexing, and query performance
• Build and manage containerized services using Docker
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Adopt AI-assisted coding and agentic development approaches (e.g. Claude Code) in daily workflows
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in a distributed systems architecture
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive healthcare data across the application stack
• Collaborate using Git-based version control in an agile, fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with 6+ years minimum in Python and React.js
• Strong proficiency in React.js/Next.js and TypeScript
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI)
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Code) and agentic approaches
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Proficiency with Git-based version control systems
• Experience building secure applications, particularly with sensitive healthcare data
• Familiarity with VS Code and containerized development workflows
• Notice period of up to 45 days if currently serving
