Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C#) for pricing, configuration, and order management flows consumed by web and mobile clients
• Extend and integrate with existing Digital Experience services managing vehicle data, pricing rules, promotions, taxes, and fees across multiple markets
• Implement reliable integrations with internal platforms including payments, financing, fulfillment, identity, inventory, and catalog systems
• Optimize services for performance, scalability, and resilience, including caching strategies, database access, background processing, and failover patterns
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend/mobile engineers to refine requirements, define service contracts, and deliver features incrementally
• Contribute to code quality through code reviews, automated testing, monitoring, and observability best practices such as logging, metrics, alerts, and dashboards
• Participate in technical design discussions, propose pragmatic solutions, and break down large projects into executable milestones suitable for a contract engagement
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement robust long-term fixes

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and building backend services and APIs in .NET (C#)
• Experience with ecommerce or digital commerce platforms, ideally pricing, configuration, or order management
• Experience integrating with platforms such as payments, financing, fulfillment, identity, inventory, or catalog systems
• Strong understanding of caching, database access patterns, background processing, and failover/resilience patterns
• Comfortable working closely with product, design, and frontend/mobile engineering teams
• Experience with code reviews, automated testing, and observability tooling (logging, metrics, alerts, dashboards)
• Available for onsite interviews and work in Fremont, California
• Available for a 12+ month contract engagement
