Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and web services using Python
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and/or Flask frameworks
• Develop, deploy, and debug applications within Linux-based environments
• Integrate applications with relational and/or NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data access
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following OOP and design-pattern best practices
• Write and maintain unit tests and support integration/regression testing efforts
• Collaborate with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues and production defects
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices

Requirements

• BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 3+ years hands-on experience as a Python Backend Developer
• Strong working experience with Django and/or Flask frameworks
• Proven experience designing and building REST APIs
• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell usage
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Python data structures
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest
• Good to have: Docker/containerized deployments, message queues (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka), AWS/Azure exposure, CI/CD and Agile/Scrum familiarity, basic JavaScript exposure
