You will design secure, scalable solutions that support critical business operations across sales, service, customer experience, and billing functions.
The position combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and close collaboration with business and technology leaders.
You will influence engineering standards, mentor developers, and drive best practices across Salesforce development initiatives.
Your work will directly impact platform reliability, operational efficiency, and the ability to scale customer-facing solutions globally.
This is an opportunity to lead complex enterprise transformations while building innovative solutions within a remote-first technology environment.
### Accountabilities:
The role focuses on owning Salesforce architecture, driving technical excellence, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions across the platform. Key responsibilities include:

- Architecting solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Billing environments.
- Designing highly scalable workflows, custom solutions, and integrations supporting complex business processes and large data volumes.
- Leading Experience Cloud architecture initiatives, including secure and high-performing self-service and partner portals using modern Salesforce technologies.
- Managing security architecture, including data-sharing models, guest user security policies, encryption strategies, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Designing and overseeing Salesforce Billing and CPQ solutions, ensuring accurate financial data flows across pricing, invoicing, revenue processes, and financial systems.
- Acting as the technical owner for integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems, ensuring data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and reliable error-handling processes.
- Designing enterprise integration architectures using middleware platforms, event-driven patterns, APIs, and secure authentication frameworks.
- Defining strategies for document automation and integrations with contract lifecycle management tools.
- Serving as the highest technical escalation point for complex Salesforce engineering challenges.
- Mentoring developers and administrators while promoting engineering excellence, continuous learning, and strong architectural practices.
- Leading technical design reviews and architecture discussions to ensure quality before production deployment.
- Partnering with product, finance, operations, and executive stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
## Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced Salesforce architect and technical leader with a strong background in enterprise-scale implementations, platform governance, and engineering leadership. Required qualifications and skills include:

- Proven experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Billing environments.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, asynchronous processing, and selecting the right balance between declarative and programmatic solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce Billing, CPQ processes, payment integrations, ledger impacts, and ERP synchronization.
- Advanced experience with enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth authentication, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong DevOps experience with Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Copado, Salto, Gearset, Jenkins, or similar solutions.
- Expert understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, encryption, sensitive data protection, and large data volume management.
- Experience mentoring developers, influencing technical direction, and managing complex technical debt.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose issues across distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, define solutions from high-level objectives, and drive execution.
