# Microsoft 365 & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid) Contract Duration: 6 Months Start Date: August 2026 Experience Required: 4–6 Years ## Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to manage and support a modern digital workplace environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management, ensuring secure and efficient end-user computing services. ## Key Responsibilities - Configure, administer, and maintain a Microsoft 365 modern workplace environment, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive. - Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments for secure and scalable end-user access. - Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication, authorization, Group Policy (GPO), and security policies. - Manage user identities, access permissions, and compliance in line with Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices. - Package, deploy, and manage workplace applications. - Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and Mobile Device Management (MDM). - Manage and secure iOS devices (iPhones and iPads), including application deployment, security policy enforcement, and remote wipe capabilities. - Ensure endpoint security, device compliance, and application security across the workplace environment. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, identity management, and endpoint devices. ## Required Skills - 4–6 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration. - Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). - Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. - Experience managing Group Policies (GPOs), authentication, authorization, and access security. - Experience with Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and endpoint security. - Experience managing iOS devices, including iPhones and iPads. - Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Microsoft Azure services. - Understanding of compliance, security, and endpoint management best practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. ## Key Technologies - Microsoft 365 - Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) - Microsoft Azure - Microsoft Entra ID - Active Directory - Microsoft Intune - Group Policy (GPO) - Outlook - Microsoft Teams - OneDrive - Mobile Device Management (MDM) - Identity & Access Management (IAM)
