# Microsoft 365 & Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Duration: 6 Months Start Date: August 2026 Experience: 4–6 Years Employment Type: Contract ## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to design, implement, and support a secure Modern Workplace environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and endpoint security while ensuring seamless end-user computing services. ## Key Responsibilities - Configure, manage, and maintain a Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace environment, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, authentication, authorization, and access security. - Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments for secure and scalable end-user access. - Manage Active Directory and Azure Entra ID, including user and device administration, Group Policies (GPOs), compliance, and security policies. - Package, deploy, and manage enterprise applications across the workplace environment. - Administer iOS devices (iPhones and iPads) using Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM). - Implement device security policies, application management, remote wipe capabilities, and endpoint compliance. - Manage user identities, permissions, and access rights in accordance with Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices. - Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint, identity, and virtual desktop environments to ensure optimal performance and security. ## Required Skills - Microsoft 365 administration (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) - Microsoft Azure - Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) - Azure Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) - Active Directory and Group Policy (GPO) - Microsoft Intune - Mobile Device Management (MDM) - Identity and Access Management (IAM) - Application deployment and endpoint management - iOS device administration (iPhone/iPad) ## Required Experience - 4–6 years of experience in Microsoft Azure and Modern Workplace administration. - Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure Virtual Desktop. - Hands-on expertise in Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune. - Experience managing endpoint security, compliance, and mobile device management. - Knowledge of identity, access management, and enterprise security best practices. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with enterprise endpoint management and device compliance. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. ## Work Location Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid/Onsite as required)
