**About the Role**
The Lendsqr Products team is looking for an exceptional candidate to take on the role of Product Designer. This is an exciting role responsible for designing and prototyping key product ideas. The candidate will be expected to develop a good understanding of the business and customers and effectively design customer-centric products to meet the business goals.
Lendsqr is currently in the process of establishing itself in various countries. However at the moment, whilst we work remotely, we are only able to hire employees resident in Nigeria to ensure effective employee management.
**Responsibilities**
1. Plan and implement new designs
2. Optimize existing UI designs
3. Liaise with team members to conduct user research and run tests for intuitively and experience
4. Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
5. Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements and principles
6. Create prototypes for new product ideas and experiments
**Requirements**
1. Minimum of a 2:1 in a relevant field
2. Previous experience as a Product Designer
3. Design portfolio
4. Strong knowledge of fintech and technical products
**Competencies/Skills**
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
2. Ability to discuss and explain design options
3. Detail-oriented and a problem solver
4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Knowledge of tools such as Figma is required. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are a plus.
6. Experience with HTML & CSS is a plus
**Compensation Structure**
