## Job Description
AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity to join our team of professionals as a Project Accountant in either Indianapolis, IN. This position allows for hybrid work as approved by management.
- Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision.
- Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings.
- Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices.
- Performs audits and generates special financial reports.
- Reviews projects for accurate revenue recognition and provides project analysis and recommendations based on findings.
- Matrixed environment, reports to local Project Executive and Regional Controller.

## Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS relevant curriculum and 2 years of accounting experience or A/AS and 4 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience in construction accounting.
- Experience with construction financial documentation.
- Strong Excel experience.
- CMiC or Textura experience is preferred.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency.
