Job Description

Job Title: Recruiter Location: 5100 Tice Street (Fort Myers, FL) Employment Type: Full-Time /Salary / Exempt Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a proactive and people‑focused Recruiter to support organization‑wide staffing needs and help attract talent aligned with our mission. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for the successful recruiting and evaluating of job candidates. This position requires strong organizational and time management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for the screening and selection of potential candidates for all posted positions using applicant tracking systems. - Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements. - Keeping Hiring Managers updated with status of opened and closed positions. - May include other duties as assigned by HR Manager and Sr. Director of HR. - Occasionally required travel to retail stores, job fairs, etc. as necessary. - Nights and weekends are required occasionally. - Must possess and maintain a valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation. - Strong attention to detail skills, strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to perform all functions within strict confidential guidelines. - Excellent communication skills, both orally and verbally. - Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, and to work with a diversified population involving many different cultures and educational levels. - Ability to exercise sound judgment, work well under pressure, and be flexible and cooperative. Qualifications: - Required: Bilingual - Preferred: Prior experience in human resources/recruiting. - Preferred: Some retail experience.
