Job Description

Resource Corner IT is hiring an experienced Senior .NET Developer for a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney. The successful candidate will build modern applications using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core Web APIs, working within a collaborative team that values secure coding practices, clean architecture, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain applications using .NET, C#, and modern web technologies
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, including JWT/OAuth authentication and CORS within ASP.NET Core Web APIs
  • Apply secure coding practices in line with the OWASP Top 10
  • Design and manage entity relationships using OOP principles
  • Apply established design patterns and SOLID principles in application design
  • Use EF Core or Dapper with Dependency Injection for data access
  • Support the full system development life cycle for applications
  • Provide application support and ongoing development
  • Collaborate with the team, sharing knowledge and improving software development practices

Requirements

  • Strong experience building applications using .NET, C#, and modern web technologies
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, including JWT/OAuth authentication and CORS within ASP.NET Core Web APIs
  • Working knowledge of secure coding practices, including the OWASP Top 10
  • Strong understanding of OOP and entity relationship management
  • General awareness of design patterns
  • Understanding of EF Core or Dapper, Dependency Injection, and SOLID principles
  • Knowledge of the system development life cycle
  • Knowledge of application support and development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Australian work rights required; visa sponsorship is not available for this role
