Job Description

Urgent opening for an experienced Full Stack Application Developer to join a GDC (Global Delivery Center) team in Chennai. The role focuses on building and deploying scalable microservices on Google Cloud Platform, working closely with stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into resilient, production-ready CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Deploy and manage applications on GCP using App Engine and Cloud Run
  • Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders and incorporate design principles for scalability and resiliency
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, Cloud Build/Cloud Run, ArgoCD)
  • Establish best practices for large-scale, resilient pipelines used across many applications
  • Build and maintain REST APIs
  • Use SonarQube for code quality checks and PostgreSQL for data persistence

Requirements

  • 6+ years in IT with 4+ years in software development
  • Proficiency in at least 2 coding languages, or advanced proficiency in 1
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices design, development, and deployment
  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud deployment on GCP
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and SonarQube
  • CI/CD architecture and pipeline design experience (Tekton, Cloud Build/Cloud Run, ArgoCD)
  • Experience with GitHub and REST API development
