Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role ensures the accuracy of the general ledger, financial statements, and monthly management reports. ### Key Responsibilities - Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. - Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for assigned properties or entities. - Coordinate with the AP and AR teams to ensure the accurate recording of payables and receivables. - Support the month-end close by ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and the financial records are complete. - Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls. ### Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. - 4–7 years of accounting experience; experience in real estate or property management is preferred. - Solid understanding of IFRS and SOCPA accounting principles. - Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems is highly preferred. - Advanced Excel skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. - Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
