THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant for the Corporate Accounting team to assist in providing accounting/finance support to Live Nation’s global technology team and the Corporate Division.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, internal financial reporting, operational and capital cost tracking, cost allocations, purchase orders administration, month-end close, financial analysis, and serving as a trusted finance partner to operational leaders.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead monthly operational finance reviews with business leaders, serving as the primary finance partner by presenting financial performance, staffing, project updates, forecasts, and actionable analyses to support decision-making.
- Assist with budget preparation annually including cost allocations.
- Track and provide finance support for various capital projects, service contracts, software licenses, and consultant agreements.
- Manage CIP accounting including project setup, tracking, accruals, reclass, partial completion reviews and related accounting activities.
- Lead the Purchase Order process, working cross-functionally with Procurement and operational leadership.
- Prepare and review month month-end journal entries and support schedules with a focus on capital assets and intangibles, including capitalized labor, project allocations, accruals, and intercompany recharges.
- Lead divisional fixed asset accounting, including processing fixed asset submissions, depreciation, and accruals.
- Review monthly fixed asset submodule and depreciation reconciliations.
- Manage computer inventory, including monthly deployment allocations and quarterly reconciliations.
- Provide dotted- line supervision to the Staff Accountant.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
- 5+ years’ accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
- Oracle experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong business partnering and relationship management skills
- Multi-task oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
