Job Summary:
We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team and take ownership of a broad range of accounting responsibilities. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for multiple accounting functions and play a key role in supporting the monthly close process and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting.
We are looking for a detail oriented professional with strong leadership potential, excellent communication skills, and a desire to grow within the organization. The ideal candidate has a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, works well in a collaborative environment, and is eager to take on new responsibilities. As the company continues to grow, we expect this individual to demonstrate the leadership and technical capabilities needed to advance over time.
This position's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, performing balance sheet, revenue, expense, and account reconciliations. The role requires a high level of analysis of transaction level activity to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and identify and resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly financial close process in accordance with the established close schedule while adhering to GAAP and Company accounting policies.
- Prepare journal entries for assigned accounting transactions.
- Prepare reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure the accuracy of financial statements during each close cycle.
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to management's attention.
- Assist with quarterly review and annual audit requests.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

- Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 4+ years of general accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment.
- Big Four experience preferred.
- CPA license or progress toward the CPA exam preferred.
- Familiarity with NetSuite preferred.
