Key Responsibilities: - Conduct underwater inspections of various structures, including bridges, barges, piers, wharves, marinas, ports, bulkheads, and seawalls. - Perform condition inspections and quality control inspections for construction projects. - Engage in structural design and analysis of marine structures. - Prepare detailed technical reports and oversee the plan development process from concept through final construction plans for new structures, rehabilitations, and repairs. Required Knowledge and Skills: - Comprehensive understanding of all facets of commercial diving and ADCI requirements for surface-supplied air diving. - Proficiency in structural engineering, design, analysis, and bridge condition inspection is highly desirable. - Experience with bridge, waterfront, and/or dam projects is preferred. Additional Qualifications: - Proven project management experience with a track record of successful project delivery. - Certification by the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) is required. - National Highway Institute (NHI) Bridge Inspection certification is a plus. - Valid driver’s license is required. - Travel up to 35% of the time is a requirement of this position - TWIC card is preferred. - Boating Safety Certificate is preferred.
