# Senior QE Automation Engineer – SAP Commerce (Hybris Pricing) Location: Remote Experience: 5+ Years ## About the Role We are looking for a Senior QE Automation Engineer with strong expertise in SAP Commerce (Hybris Pricing) to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of the Hybris Pricing Engine and hands-on experience designing and implementing end-to-end test automation across API, UI, and data layers. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of pricing functionality while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software. ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for SAP Commerce (Hybris) pricing functionality. - Automate end-to-end pricing validation across API, UI, and data layers. - Develop and maintain regression automation suites to validate pricing configurations, promotions, and catalog-aware pricing. - Create automation stories aligned with pricing-related JIRA tickets and sprint deliverables. - Develop API automation using Postman, Pytest (Python), and Java WebClient. - Build and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium. - Perform backend data validation and develop utility scripts using Python. - Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear, actionable diagnostics for faster defect resolution. - Optimize automation scripts for performance, stability, scalability, and maintainability. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA engineers to validate requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Maintain automation documentation, test strategies, and best practices to support continuous improvement. ## Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with a strong focus on automation testing. - Deep functional understanding of SAP Commerce (Hybris) Pricing Engine, including: - Price Rows - Price Groups - Net and Gross Pricing - Catalog-Aware Pricing Configuration - Promotion Rules - Hands-on experience in API, UI, and backend automation testing. - Strong programming skills in Java. - Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for UI automation. - Experience using Python for data validation, automation utilities, or test scripting. - Hands-on experience with API automation tools such as Postman, Pytest (Python), and Java WebClient. - Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium. - Experience implementing automation reporting using Extent Reports, Allure, or similar reporting frameworks. - Experience integrating automated test suites into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong documentation and test planning skills. - Knowledge of SAP Commerce Product Content Management (PCM). ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience automating complex shopping cart recalculation and pricing validation scenarios. - Experience testing enterprise eCommerce applications built on SAP Commerce (Hybris). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. - Experience optimizing automation frameworks for large-scale regression testing. ## Tools & Technologies - SAP Commerce: Hybris Pricing Engine, Product Content Management (PCM) - Programming Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript - API Automation: Postman, Pytest (Python), Java WebClient - UI Automation: Playwright, Selenium - Reporting: Extent Reports, Allure - CI/CD: Jenkins - Project Management: JIRA - Version Control: Git ABOUT ISHIR ISHIR is a digital innovation and enterprise AI services provider.
