Specially, focusing on onboarding applications. Marex has experienced significant growth in both size and scale. As we continue to onboard new clients and expand products for existing ones, the volume, complexity, and regulatory demands of onboarding have increased substantially. Client onboarding at Marex is a collaborative effort across Sales, Technology, and dedicated global Onboarding teams. To support continued growth and deliver a seamless client experience, we are adopting a technology-first approach, focused on: - Automating manual and operationally heavy workflows. - Reducing onboarding timelines. - Building scalable onboarding platforms. - Improving data quality, controls, and regulatory outcomes. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, onboarding SMEs, QA, and wider technology teams to deliver a scalable, efficient, and client-centric onboarding experience. Reporting to the CEO, Technology provides digital tools, software services and infrastructure globally to all business groups. Software development and support teams work in agile ‘streams’ aligned to specific business areas. Our other teams work enterprise-wide to provide critical services including our global service desk, network and system infrastructure, IT operations, security, enterprise architecture and design. The Software Development function creates and maintains applications, frameworks and other software components to deliver to business requirements. Developers conceive, specify, design, engineer, document, test, and deliver bug fixes as needed to provide high quality software solutions. Each Development team is aligned to one of Marex’s business divisions and works with a corresponding Business Technology and Application Support team. Responsibilities: - Design, code and test all components of modern web applications. - Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the technology created/maintained by the development delivery team. - Develop solutions to a high standard that is maintainable, testable and meets the requirement’s acceptance criteria. - Adhere to development best practices and processes. - Communicate with team members, introduce ideas and keep abreast of the latest technologies. - Liaise with business users to gather application requirements. - Ensure delivered systems are of production quality. Skills and Experience Essential: - At least seven (7+) years experience with C# and .NET. is required - Experience with Docker / Knowledge of containers. - Experience of NoSQL or RDMS databases. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform or equivalent. - Experience in modern CI/CD and DevOps practices. - Experience Cloud technology, strong preferring AWS (Amazon Web Services). - Knowledge of BDD/TDD. - Knowledge and experience with Agile and scrum development methodologies. - Methodical approach to software architecture and design and experience employing the right design choices for a given project. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experienced in onboarding technology, ideally those who have worked on or built systems supporting: - KYC / AML / KYB - Client data capture, enrichment, and validation - Third-party integrations (e.g. screening, reference data, document management) - Regulatory-driven onboarding processes - Scalable, API-driven onboarding platforms Desirable: - Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this. - Experience with modern frontend frameworks, ideally React, though Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks. - Exposure to JavaScript and/or TypeScript in a frontend or full-stack context. - Experience with Node.js and/or GraphQL. Salary Range: $175,000 to $210,000 per year and eligible for discretionary bonus.
