Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a W2 contract role in Quincy, MA. The candidate will work on enterprise-grade applications built with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, contributing across backend services and database design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend services using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Work with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate for data persistence
  • Write and tune SQL queries against Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases
  • Apply OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling best practices
  • Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins
  • Apply design patterns and secure coding practices
  • Collaborate on frontend integration using ReactJS or Angular

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Java 8, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices architecture
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL and SQL tuning
  • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and secure coding practices
  • Preferred: ReactJS or Angular experience, exposure to AWS or Azure
  • Must be authorized to work on W2 basis (GC or USC)
