Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Full-Stack Developer - AI-forward based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to build advanced software solutions at the intersection of full-stack engineering, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable platforms that solve complex business challenges across enterprise environments. The position combines hands-on software development with architectural ownership, technical leadership, and innovation. You will work with modern technologies including Salesforce, cloud services, integrations, Python, and AI-powered development tools. The ideal candidate is passionate about engineering excellence, automation, and leveraging emerging technologies to transform how software is built. You will join a collaborative team where engineers are empowered to create reusable solutions, influence technical direction, and deliver meaningful business impact. ### Accountabilities: The Senior Full-Stack Developer will contribute directly to building, scaling, and optimizing enterprise software solutions while establishing strong engineering practices and advancing AI-driven development workflows. - Apply and advance AI-native software development practices by integrating AI chat tools, coding assistants, and emerging technologies into the engineering lifecycle. - Build and maintain AI-enabled development tooling, including extensions, plugins, and integrations that improve engineering productivity. - Develop and support Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and related solutions that connect AI tools with internal systems and data sources. - Continuously evaluate new AI technologies and establish practical approaches, standards, and safeguards for effective AI-assisted development. - Design and deliver reusable platform capabilities, including shared libraries, frameworks, metadata solutions, and scalable architecture patterns. - Develop production-quality solutions using Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and CPQ configurations. - Build and maintain integrations and services using REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, ETL tools, Python, and cloud-based technologies. - Create scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce DX, platform events, custom metadata, AWS services, and cloud development best practices. - Lead architecture discussions, solution design reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and maintainability. - Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Gearset, and Salesforce DX to enable reliable and efficient deployments. - Maintain development, testing, and production environments while ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance with service expectations. - Troubleshoot complex technical issues, resolve production incidents, and proactively improve system reliability. - Mentor engineers on Salesforce development, architectural approaches, coding standards, and engineering best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions. - Influence technical strategy by identifying opportunities for innovation, improving platform capabilities, and reducing technical debt. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong Salesforce expertise, modern development skills, and a passion for using AI to improve engineering workflows and outcomes. - 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 5 years working extensively with Salesforce platforms in complex enterprise environments. - Advanced programming experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. - Strong proficiency in Python or another object-oriented programming language. - Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across enterprise-scale environments. - Hands-on experience with MuleSoft, DataWeave, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and integration architectures. - Experience developing applications and services using AWS and cloud-based technologies. - Demonstrated ability to use AI development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and open-source alternatives as part of an AI-first engineering workflow. - Experience building AI-related tooling, plugins, extensions, or comparable developer productivity solutions. - Experience working with MCP servers or similar AI integration frameworks is preferred. - Strong understanding of modern software architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise application design. - Experience implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and automated testing strategies. - Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Developer / Platform Developer certifications required. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product teams, business stakeholders, and engineering peers. - Ability to mentor other engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Additional preferred qualifications include: - Salesforce Platform Developer II certification. - Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing. - Experience implementing Salesforce Experience Cloud. - Familiarity with containerized and serverless architectures, including Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS, or Fargate. - Experience with additional programming languages such as Java, Go, Ruby, C#, Node.js, or Vue.js. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. ## Benefits: - Competitive base salary range of $147,000 - $167,000 per year. - Potential bonus opportunities discussed during the recruitment process. - Compensation based on experience, education, location, skills, training, and internal equity. - Local cost-of-living considerations evaluated during the offer process. - Opportunity to work on innovative AI-driven engineering initiatives. - Collaborative environment focused on technical growth, ownership, and continuous learning. - Exposure to modern cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and advanced development practices. - Opportunity to influence engineering standards, technology strategy, and platform evolution.
