Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist Member of Internal Operations Team Job Summary At Katapult Engineering, we combine best-in-class software with decades of service work experience to build trust, improve the industry, and bring reliable utilities to people. We are an employee-owned company seeking talented people who want to do better in their work and in the world. This position will be responsible for everything that pulls top talent into Katapult and successfully integrates them into our team. This seat will drive innovation as we look to aggressively grow, keep a healthy pipeline of talent, and ensure every new hire experiences a seamless onboarding journey. The job will be full-time and in person at Katapult’s office in Dillsburg, PA. Expected Job Roles - Talent Sourcing & Acquisition: Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies (targeted job boards, network outreach, and career fairs) to build a diverse pipeline of top-tier talent. - Interview Management: Drive the interview process by coordinating schedules, maintaining clear communication with applicants, and assisting team leads in conducting structured, effective candidate evaluations. - Internship Management: Partner with team leads to develop "fair-exchange" internships. Actively recruit, mentor, and evaluate interns for future full-time opportunities. - Onboarding Assistance: Facilitate a seamless transition for new hires by supporting the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming handoff from recruitment to their first days at Katapult. Qualifications Who You Are: - Culture Carrier: You embody Katapult’s core values: create maximum value, people matter, a growth mindset, and fair exchange. - People-Centric: You are drawn to people, not drained by them, and have held responsibility across a range of people-facing situations. - Growth-Minded: You have a track record of significant personal growth and a deep commitment to growing others. - Proactive Owner: You run toward responsibility, wanting your daily decisions to make a tangible impact on the company. - Metrics-Driven: You don't shy away from measurement. You own the clean metrics, wrestle with the squishy ones, and build real feedback loops where direct measurement won't get you there. What You Bring: - Strong people skills with exceptional communication skills - Proven ability to conduct structured, behavioral, or culture-fit interviews that accurately assess a candidate's potential and alignment with company values - High attention to detail and process organization to seamlessly manage talent tracking, interview schedules, and new hire onboarding - Unwavering discretion and integrity when handling confidential employee information - Other preferences (but we wouldn’t rule you out if you didn’t have these): - Past experience in talent sourcing - Past experience in designing, launching, or scaling internship programs - Past experience in human resource management Compensation and Benefits - Compensation - Competitive wages - Phone stipend - Overtime pay starting above 36 worked hours per week - Quarterly bonus system - Profit sharing system as part of our Employee Ownership Trust - 401k retirement program - Paid Time Off - Vacation time - 8 paid holidays - Up to 4 additional “Weekly PTO” hours to bring your total hours up to 40 if you have worked at least 36 hours - Paid personal sick leave as needed and 24 hours of family care leave - Ministry days, Funeral leave, Parental leave, and Jury Duty leave - Flex time - Insurance Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 100% of premiums covered for employee (& family if applicable) - Quarterly contributions to a Health Savings Account - Short and long-term disability insurance - Office snacks and drinks, salad bar, and ramen bar
