Job Description
We have an urgent opening for a React Native Architect with 12+ years of experience for a remote location. This is a pure technical role requiring immediate joiners or candidates serving a notice period of 0–10 days. The role involves building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, integrating secure RESTful APIs, implementing offline-first data storage, and working with native device features like camera, GPS, and notifications. The architect will also be responsible for image manipulation, Edge ML models, and Augmented Reality (AR) integrations. The candidate will collaborate within Agile teams, contribute to documentation, analytics integration, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement mobile application screens as per approved UI/UX design specifications using React Native
- Integrate RESTful APIs securely and efficiently, including robust error handling and retry logic for network failure scenarios
- Implement and manage access to native device features such as camera (image capture and upload), file system, GPS/location services, and notifications
- Design and maintain local storage using mobile databases (SQLite, Realm) to support offline-first functionality and data sync
- Write unit tests and support integration testing to ensure code quality, reliability, and regression safety
- Identify and fix bugs reported during QA and field/user testing cycles in collaboration with QA and support teams
- Generate build artifacts for different environments and platforms (APK for Android, IPA for iOS), ensuring compliance with app store requirements
- Conduct thorough module-level integration testing to validate functionality, interactions, and end-to-end workflows
- Work with image manipulation and management features
- Integrate Edge ML models into mobile applications
- Implement Augmented Reality (AR) features
- Support CI/CD builds and ensure app store compliance
- Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to documentation, analytics integration, and performance monitoring
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development
- Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful API integration and robust error handling
- Hands-on experience with SQLite and Realm for offline-first mobile data storage
- Experience with native device features: camera, GPS, file system, notifications
- Proficiency in mobile testing: unit tests and integration testing
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and generating APK/IPA build artifacts
- Hands-on experience with Native Modules and debugging
- Experience with image manipulation and management
- Hands-on experience with Edge ML models
- Hands-on experience with Augmented Reality (AR)
- Immediate joiner or serving notice period of 0–10 days
