Key Responsibilities

• Independently own large features, modules, services, or pipelines end-to-end
• Design, develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and support production applications
• Contribute to system design decisions involving scale, latency, reliability, and maintainability
• Design and maintain relational database schemas with attention to data integrity, indexing, and performance
• Evaluate and apply AI coding tools while identifying incorrect, insecure, or unsuitable AI-generated code
• Diagnose and resolve production failures and implement fixes to prevent recurrence
• Work with incomplete requirements and limited supervision in a high-autonomy environment

Requirements

• 10 to 20 years of progressive software development experience
• Strong backend engineering experience in Python with full-stack capability
• Hands-on experience with React on the frontend
• Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database
• Experience with AWS or a comparable cloud platform
• Strong understanding of system design, algorithms, data structures, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Foundational knowledge of generative AI and AI-assisted development tools
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar frameworks and technologies
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; candidates outside the area must be based in EST or CST time zones and willing to relocate to Alpharetta, GA
• Open to C2C or W2 engagement
