Job Description
Senior Python Support Backend Engineer role focused on Python backend development, MySQL, AWS S3 integration, REST APIs, and production support. This is a remote position with immediate joiner availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python backend services with a focus on reliability and performance
- Design and optimize SQL queries for workflow efficiency and data integrity
- Integrate AWS S3 for storage and retrieval needs using boto3
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems
- Handle file processing for CSV, JSON, XML, Excel, and related formats
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production applications
Requirements
- 9+ years of backend Python development experience
- Strong hands-on Python skills with in-depth core Python knowledge
- Proficient MySQL and advanced SQL query writing
- Experience with AWS S3 integration (boto3)
- Experience handling REST APIs and integrations
- Experience with file processing formats (CSV, JSON, XML, Excel)
- Strong database interaction skills and timezone handling
- Proven production support and backend troubleshooting experience
