## Job Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with the finance team to produce periodical accounts, reconcile balance sheets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. If you enjoy problem-solving, collaborating with others, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain general ledger accuracy
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Review AP payments & Payroll
- Maintain Customer Master Data
- Manage Staff expenses and corporate credit card
- Ad-hoc duties as requested
## Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or relevant studies.
- Currently studying towards CA/CPA (ideal, but not mandatory).
- Strong financial literacy and numeracy skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office, and exposure to accounting systems or ERP software.
- A problem solver with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
