Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Siebel Administrator with strong Operations and Production Support experience to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise Siebel CRM environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Siebel administration, environment management, production support, release management, performance tuning, and incident resolution. This role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, database, application, and business teams to ensure high availability, stability, and performance of Siebel applications while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities / Technical Skills
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Siebel Administration and Production Operations.
Administer, configure, maintain, and support Siebel CRM environments across Development, QA, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production.
Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Siebel CRM (IP19 or higher preferred).
Manage Siebel Enterprise, Siebel Gateway, Siebel Servers, Application Interface (AI), and Web Server configurations.
Perform Siebel Enterprise configuration, component management, server tuning, and performance optimization.
Monitor application health, server utilization, logs, and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and environment optimization activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, application issues, server failures, and environment-related problems within SLA.
Coordinate and execute deployment activities, release management, and production migrations using established change management processes.
Support application availability during planned maintenance, patching, and disaster recovery exercises.
Work closely with Infrastructure, Database (Oracle), Middleware, Network, and Security teams for issue resolution and environment maintenance.
Manage Siebel Repository deployment, SRF deployment, workspace deliveries, and IRM migration activities.
Perform log analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance activities.
Configure and monitor Siebel Server Components, Component Groups, Enterprise Profiles, Named Subsystems, and Enterprise Parameters.
Experience in SSL configuration, authentication mechanisms, and security administration is preferred.
Support integrations involving REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, EAI, JMS/MQ, and interface monitoring.
Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or Python (Good to Have).
Monitor scheduled jobs, batch processes, workflows, enterprise integrations, and system interfaces.
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Request Management.
Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and runbooks.
Collaborate with development teams during deployments, defect fixes, and environment troubleshooting.
Participate in on-call support, weekend deployments, and production maintenance activities as required.
Technical Skills
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Siebel CRM Administration (IP19 or higher preferred).
Expertise in Siebel Enterprise, Gateway, Siebel Server, and Application Interface administration.
Experience with Siebel installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Strong understanding of Oracle Database concepts related to Siebel.
Experience in performance tuning, server optimization, and capacity planning.
Strong production support and incident management experience.
Experience with deployment, release management, and environment management.
Knowledge of Siebel Server Components, Named Subsystems, and Enterprise configuration.
Experience in log analysis, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration.
Knowledge of Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat, IIS) supporting Siebel environments.
Experience with ITIL processes and Service Management tools such as ServiceNow.
Good to Have
Experience with Siebel Cloud Manager or cloud-hosted Siebel environments.
Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server.
Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, EAI, JMS, and MQ monitoring.
Scripting experience using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, OEM, Splunk, or ELK.
Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution experience.
Soft Skills (Must Have)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a production support mindset.

Ability to manage critical production incidents under pressure.

Experience mentoring junior administrators and driving operational best practices.Additional Information
Minimum 7-8 years of hands-on experience in Siebel IP19 and onward versions for support and maintenance.
Position is based out of Bangalore, Hyderabad
