## Description
At LAFCU, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team and serve as a key partner to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives while helping foster a positive workplace culture.
### What You'll Do
- Partner with HR leadership to support employee relations and workplace conflict resolution.
- Administer weekly payroll using UKG Ready while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage employee and retiree benefits, leave administration, tuition reimbursement, and other benefit programs.
- Coordinate Open Enrollment and respond to employee benefit questions.
- Support performance management, workforce analytics, compensation reviews, and other HR initiatives.
- Process employment verifications and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Conduct HR compliance audits and ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies.
- Help develop programs that recognize employee achievements and strengthen workplace culture.
- Assist with special HR projects and continuous process improvements.
## Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Required experience with UKG Ready payroll system.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, payroll, benefits, compensation, and HR compliance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive employee information.
