Manufacturing Engineer

What You’ll Do:
- Complete hands-on training: Participate in an immersive training program to gain foundational knowledge and practical skills in design engineering processes.
- Develop standard drawings: Create and refine standard drawings within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Project management: Oversee projects from start to finish, including the delivery of approval drawings, manufacturing prints, and bills of materials.
- 3D modeling and layout creation: Generate detailed 3D assemblies and layout drawings for conveying equipment, ensuring precision and functionality.
- Pricing model development and quoting: Design pricing models and prepare accurate quotes for custom, made-to-order components to meet client specifications.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with manufacturing, sales, and quality teams to align design with production capabilities and customer expectations.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve design standards, and support cost-saving initiatives.
What You’ll Bring:
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Manufacturing experience: Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude: Strong technical skills and understanding of mechanical concepts.
- Drafting software skills: Familiarity with Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidEdge is a plus.
- Attention to detail: Highly detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
- Customer service commitment: Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and upholding Martin's standards.
- Communication skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Self-motivation and goal orientation: Proactive with a strong drive to achieve personal and team goals.
- Problem-solving and decision-making: Able to independently evaluate situations, solve problems, and make effective decisions.

Your Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Wage information:
- Annual Salary: $71,000 - $85,000
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to California’s SB 1162 Pay Equity Law. It is estimated based on what a successful California applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of Martin’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be within the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Martin’s total compensation package for employees. In addition, Martin provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life, and disability insurance, a profit-sharing plan, a 401K trust plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
