Job Posting End Date: Worker Type: Permanent The role is part of Test Data Management (TDM) Build team accountable of building and enhancing various service offerings/capabilities, related to the TDM Asset. This role is responsible for Building scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure, while also having excellent coding and automation skills. Main Activities - Creation and maintenance of delivery pipeline tooling. Including build/deploy/CI/infrastructure scripts, monitoring, logging & reporting metrics/dashboards - Setting up automated environment provisioning that will setup secure cloud and on premise - Supporting the infrastructure and application layer, both in production and test environments - Supporting the build team (Dev and Test) to be self-sustained through training and troubleshooting - Continually learning and researching best DevOps practices and tooling - Proactively manage risk; meet all reporting, policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; documenting and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified with all required artefacts gathered - Risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance Key Skills - Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. - Build and automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and release of new services. - Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPCs. - Write efficient Python scripts for automation and integration tasks. - Monitor and maintain system reliability, performance, and security. - Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide timely solutions. - Implement best practices in cloud security, backup, and recovery. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues - Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to improve system performance and efficiency. - Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and distributed computing. - A strong desire to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends. - Dedication to high-quality work, with attention to detail and commitment to deadlines. Typical Experience - It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and experience - 10+ years in application development and / or support roles - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). - Expertise in writing infrastructure code using Terraform. - Proficiency in Python programming. - Experience with any of the CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, etc.). - Strong communication & presentations skills It's more than just a career at NAB!
