Key Responsibilities

• Design and build Angular component architecture including modules, lazy loading, and standalone components
• Implement state management using NgRx or Angular Signals with reactive RxJS patterns
• Write unit and end-to-end tests using Jasmine, Jest, and Cypress, and ensure WCAG accessibility compliance
• Design and build RESTful APIs in FastAPI using Pydantic models, dependency injection, and OpenAPI documentation
• Implement async/await patterns, background tasks, caching, and rate limiting for backend performance
• Implement JWT/OAuth2 authentication, middleware, CORS policies, and input validation following OWASP best practices
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexing strategies, and migrations using Alembic
• Tune queries using EXPLAIN ANALYZE, CTEs, and window functions
• Manage SQLAlchemy (sync and async) transactions, isolation levels, and connection pooling
• Build serverless, event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda, SNS, and SQS with dead letter queues
• Develop data pipelines using AWS Glue ETL jobs, crawlers, data catalog, and S3 integration
• Monitor and secure cloud resources using CloudWatch and IAM

Requirements

• Strong experience with Angular 15+, TypeScript, NgRx, RxJS, and Angular Signals
• Experience with Jest, Jasmine, and Cypress for frontend testing
• Strong experience with Python 3.10+, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy
• Experience with JWT/OAuth2 authentication and Alembic migrations
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL including query optimization and async SQLAlchemy
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, SNS, SQS, S3, and IAM
• Must be able to work Day 1 onsite in Chicago, IL
