This is an exciting opportunity for a recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces innovation, and is passionate about helping others find meaningful careers. If you're a self-starter who enjoys leading change, leveraging technology, and continuously looking for better ways to attract exceptional talent, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do in the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll serve as a trusted partner to hiring managers while leading full-cycle recruitment efforts that help build exceptional teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for clinical, non-clinical, leadership, and corporate positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop creative, effective recruiting strategies.
- Source and engage qualified candidates through applicant tracking systems, social media, networking, employee referrals, community partnerships, and other innovative recruiting methods.
- Create compelling job advertisements and employment branding campaigns that showcase our culture, mission, and values.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs.
- Conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and provide an exceptional experience throughout the hiring process.
- Plan and participate in career fairs, hiring events, internship partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to create a welcoming, seamless, and engaging experience for every new team member.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, hiring trends, and labor market data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Leverage technology, automation, and emerging AI tools to improve recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.
- Champion new ideas and process improvements that strengthen recruitment and enhance the candidate experience.
- Support additional Human Resources initiatives that promote employee engagement, recognition, and organizational culture.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who combines recruiting expertise with exceptional customer service, professionalism, and a genuine passion for people.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3-5 years of recruiting or human resources experience, preferably within healthcare or senior living.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and recruiting technology.
- Strong technical aptitude with the curiosity and ability to quickly learn new systems while embracing automation, AI, and emerging technologies that enhance recruitment.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with applicants, hiring managers, and organizational leaders.
- A warm, friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for every candidate and team member.
- A self-starter who takes initiative, thinks creatively, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
- The confidence and adaptability to lead through change while helping others embrace new ideas and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as a valued member of a high-performing HR team.
- A solutions-oriented mindset, sound judgment, a high sense of urgency, and unwavering commitment to confidentiality.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or related professional certification preferred.
