Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Enterprise COBOL, JCL, and Embedded SQL
- Work on online transaction processing using CICS, including BMS Maps, TS/TD Queues, Program Control, and Intercommunication
- Design and manage relational data structures using DB2
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in IBM Mainframe software engineering
- Proven track record in high-volume, transactional environments (Financial Services, Healthcare, Logistics, or Insurance)
- Proficiency in Enterprise COBOL, JCL, and Embedded SQL
- Assembler/EZTrieve experience is a plus
- Experience with CICS: BMS Maps, TS/TD Queues, Program Control, Intercommunication
- DB2 relational design experience
- Must be a local candidate to Westlake Village, CA (onsite role)
