Job Description
Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead and participate in the development of systems, processes and initiatives related to sourcing and recruitment. This position will perform full-cycle recruitment activities as well as perform activities that position Sandridge in the community to help develop candidate pipelines. All talent evaluation processes and applicant tracking system administration will be overseen by this position. This role will also seek to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of recruitment to include elements that impact candidate experience.
Key Specific Responsibilities:
Spearheads comprehensive recruitment strategies to meet exempt and non-exempt employee staffing needs, leveraging expertise to navigate high-volume hiring seasons.
Demonstrated ability to source top talent efficiently, ensuring timely and effective hiring processes.
Prepare and coordinate all on-line recruiting advertisements for open positions utilizing applicant tracking system, as well as developing a strategic recruiting plan.
Conduct pre-screening interviews as appropriate, scheduling and participating in on-site interviews as required.
Evaluate candidate's job experience, education, skills, training, organizational fit using various assessment and interview tools.
Manages the new hire process from recruiting to interviewing to pre-hire testing to offer letter and ensures all records are retained as required by law.
Supports the new hire orientation program, offering suggestions for improvements.
Maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations concerning all employment related activities.
Support HR team members with employee recognition events, employee relations activities, and other departmental projects. Additionally, help identify new opportunities to coordinate attendance at speaking engagements, career fairs, and campus recruiting events for prospective candidates.
Compile and present talent and candidate KPI data, such as time to fill, internal fill rate, and total hires, to departmental and executive leadership.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Ability to walk around facility, as well as climb stairs as needed.
Ability to work in cold climates.
Ability to read/write the English language.
Occasional physical activity such as lifting and carrying boxes up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications for Position:
Associate’s degree or formal education such as relevant coursework or professional training is preferred; alternatively, at least 3 years of recruiting. experience across various industries will be considered.
Prior experience with applicant tracking systems.
Ability to work with diverse groups of employees.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
